Network
The foundation of our mission critical network is supported by Cisco Systems' routers and switches while our connectivity is provided through our peering relationships with some of the largest IP backbones in North America, including MCI/Verizon, AT&T, Level 3 Communications, Sprint, NTT Verio, Cable & Wireless and Global Crossing. Over the past 10 years, Osiris has consistently provided 99.99% uptime to our web hosting, colocation and managed server customers.
Our routing policies are dynamic to accommodate traffic through all peers while preserving the highest quality service for end users accessing your site or equipment. Using the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), our network is resilient from single peer failures where each peer guarantees better than 99.99% uptime. The probability of catastrophic network failure is thus reduced to 0.000001%, or randomly occurring for a total of 31.5 seconds each calendar year.
To ensure the highest level of service for all customers, we have a 24x7 network operations center to detect, investigate and quickly resolve the problems in our network that may lead to degraded service.

Facilities
Osiris' main hosting facility is located within the Market Post Tower Internet Service Exchange. Located in downtown San Jose, CA, it is considered the Bay Area's most connected building. Often referred to as the "Gold Building" due to its golden glass reflection, Market Post Tower is the home of MAE-West and has emerged as one of the premier peering locations in the Western United States. The building has diverse fiber points of entry, excellent rooftop line-of-site opportunities and an on-site technician staff. Additionally, the building has up to 200 Watts/square foot redundant AC/DC UPS power.
The building runs a 24x7 network operations center to detect, investigate and quickly resolve potential problems within the network that may lead to degraded service.
